Workshop Repairs

For cost effective desktop and laptop repairs, as well as hardware installation, we have a workshop beneath our showroom in Jewry Street. Bring your equipment into our shop where we can usually give you an on the spot quote. If we cannot give you a quote, we will provide a diagnosis service which covers basic repairs.

Quick Fit of Hardware
On-the-spot fitting of hardware such as memory, or graphics cards.		 £20
   
Minimum Charge - Diagnosis and Basic Repairs
Our most popular service. This includes a full diagnosis of the problem.
This also includes basic repairs which do not require any replacement parts.		 £35
Virus Service
This includes removal of viruses from the machine, using our own methods and facilities, as well as installation of operating system updates and security software advice.		 £65
   
Windows Setup
Installation of Windows using a provided license, including full set up with drivers, updates and basic software.		 £65
Windows Setup + Data Backup
Installation of Windows using a provided license, including full set up with drivers, updates and basic software, while preserving data originally on the machine.		 £95
   

Although these prices are standard, there may be times when extra charges occur, especially if parts need to be replaced.

The technician will always phone before letting any additional charges occur.

Collect & Return Service

If you are unable to bring your equipment into our shop in order for us to carry out our repair services, we operate a collect and return service, in which we can collect the equipment from your premises, and return after the repair work is complete.

The cost of the collect and return service is an additional £25.

Callouts and Installs

We can visit your home or office to repair computers, install equipment or configure networks within a 20 mile raidus of Winchester. We are normally available to do callouts daily, Mondays to Fridays (Saturdays available for emergencies) from 11AM up to 6PM upon arrangement.

Callouts are charged at £65 per hour, the first of which must be paid in advance, either over the phone, or in the shop. However, if you intend to use our Callout service regularly, we are currently offering the following callout bundles which are valid for 2 years:
  • 7 Hours - £385 (£70 discount)
  • 21 Hours - £1050 (£315 discount)

Please note that we do not recommend performing a virus removal service on-site, as it can take as much as three hours to complete. We have a collect and return service if you are unable to bring your equipment into the shop.
